HIT - Trainings & TA

The DC Department of Health Care Finance (DHCF) has partnered with eHealthDC, a DCPCA program, to offer free technical assistance and Meaningful Use support for the District’s Medicaid EHR Incentive Program (MEIP), Meaningful Use and adoption of HIE tools.  As previously reported, the MEIP enables Medicaid-eligible providers to collect up to $63,750 in incentive payments for meeting Meaningful Use requirements through the use of a certified EHR over a 6 year period.

Given a final August 31st deadline for new providers to enter the District’s incentive program, we are happy to report that eHealthDC successfully enrolled more than 100 new providers in MEIP since May 2017.  The team is now shifting its focus to supporting DCPCA’s community health centers, the District’s MyHealthGPS providers and all enrolled DC MEIP providers through the Meaningful Use attestation process for Program Years 2017 and 2018.  We will also be helping these providers with the adoption and use of the new HIE tools recently developed by CRISP and DCPCA, which are being moved to production operations in December 2017.  For more information on how your practice can benefit from eHealthDC services or if you have previously attested through the DC MEIP, please coordinate with your practice administrator to contact eHealthDC staff directly at contact@e-healthdc.org or call 202-552-2331.
