The DC Department of Health Care Finance (DHCF) has partnered with eHealthDC, a DCPCA program, to offer free technical assistance and Meaningful Use support for the District’s Medicaid EHR Incentive Program (MEIP).  The MEIP enables Medicaid-eligible providers to collect up to $63,750 in incentive payments for meeting Meaningful Use requirements through the use of a certified EHR over a 6 year period. Given a final August 31st deadline for new providers to enter the incentive program through DC, eHealthDC has successfully enrolled over 100 new providers since May 2017.  In the month of August, the eHealthDC team assisted more than 60 providers through the District’s MEIP attestation process which will allow them to collect first-year incentive payments of $21,250 per eligible provider, for a total of nearly $1.4 million.

For providers who have previously attested for MEIP through DC or another state, eHealthDC is still able to provide free technical assistance for Program Year 2017 Meaningful Use attestations through DC. For more information on whether you qualify for free eHealthDC support, please coordinate with your practice administrator to contact eHealthDC staff directly at contact@e-healthdc.org, call 202-552-2331, or submit an inquiry at www.e-healthdc.org
