The Health Quality Improvement Manager must be self-motivated, able to manage multiple tasks, able to work with diverse people and groups, and carry a heavy workload. This position is responsible for the coordination and implementation of various programs, quality improvement activities, and grant projects for DCPCA. The Health Quality Improvement Manager will also provide guidance to the community health center leadership and staff on process improvement applications and innovative approaches to health care management challenges. The applicant must be able to interact comfortably with senior staff, District officials, and community leaders as needed. Must be able to work with minimal supervision and maximum accountability.

These programs include workforce programs to develop a certified Community Health Worker job category, internships, and volunteer programs which provide exposure to community health care career opportunities. The director also works collaboratively with Medical Homes DC, technology, and community relations staff to promote services delivered by community health centers and to promote DCPCA programs. Through effective partnerships with educational entities; community health centers and other health care providers; local and federal government; and advocacy organizations this position works to ensure better access to primary health care for low-income and medically vulnerable residents in the District of Columbia.

and externally. This includes managing a portfolio of DCPCA health
care policy initiatives and also working broadly to support all DCPCA

and maintains relationships with staff of relevant policymakers and
assists in the promotion and development of project goals and
