Become DCPCA’s Newest Member in 2010

DCPCA works with members like you to advance policy and develop programs that help ensure that everyone gets the right care, at the right time, and in the right place – regardless of their ability to pay.

While Primary Care is in our name, DCPCA works on all issues related to giving District residents the opportunity to lead healthy lives. DCPCA’s action agenda includes poverty, health, social justice, and economic opportunity.

Our current list of passionate and hard working members includes community health centers, managed care organizations, community-based service providers, academic institutions, health professional associations, businesses, individual advocates, policy makers, consumers… the list goes on and on.

By joining DCPCA, you can:

  • Meet and build relationships with experienced colleagues at the DCPCA Annual Meeting, Summer Reception, and other events.
  • Gain access to DCPCA staff for policy expertise and technical assistance.
  • Receive DCPCA’s Health News Alert with updates on programs and policy.
  • Be highlighted as a member in these publications, which reach an audience of more than 5,500, and on the DCPCA website.
  • Make the difference in the health and wellbeing of DC’s neighborhoods and residents.

Membership Categories:

  • Managed Care Organization, Hospital, or other Health Care Provider: For-profit and not-for-profit organizations in the field of health care, and health care delivery and service, including specialty and acute care.
  • Corporation: Any for-profit entity conducting business in the District of Columbia and/or other states (e.g., banks, pharmaceutical companies, law firms, etc.) Corporations are invited to sponsor DCPCA events and partner on projects.
  • Community-Based Organization or Association: Nonprofit organizations that provide human welfare and social services or represents individuals, groups of organizations, trades, or government.
