The following 13 projects have the potential to create capacity for approximately 200,000 patient visits per year: WARDS 7 & 8 1. Unity Health Care – Hunt Place Clinic Project: Development of a replacement center for the former public benefit corporation (PBC) clinic in Ward 7 Award: Planning services 2. Unity Health Care – Anacostia Clinic Project: Development of a replacement center for the former public benefit corporation (PBC) clinic in Ward 8 Award: Planning services 3. Family and Medical Counseling Service Project: Service expansion at, and replacement of current facility Award: Planning services 4. Community of Hope Project: Development of new center in Ward 7 or 8 Award: Planning services 5. Whitman-Walker Clinic Project: Development of new center or redevelopment of Max Robinson Center Award: Planning services WARD 6 6. Unity Health Care − Walker-Jones Health Center Project: Replacement of the existing Walker-Jones Health Center in NW1. Award: Planning services WARDS 4 & 5 7. Mary’s Center for Maternal and Child Care Project: New Center in Ward 4 to replace temporary site at Kennedy Street NW Award: Planning services 8. So Others Might Eat (SOME) Project: Expansion of dental department to increase capacity by 20 percent Award: Construction services 9. La Clínica del Pueblo Project: New Center in Ward 4 or 5 Award: Planning services 10. Family Health and Birth Center / Developing Families Center Project: Expansion of existing site in Near Northeast to provide primary care, either directly or by co-locating another primary care provider on-site Award: Planning services WARD 2 11.
