Peer Group Description: The DCPCA Emergency Preparedness Task Force (EPTF) Peer Group is a means for health centers to present emergency preparedness gaps/challenges and implemented improvements as well as share promising practices and resources. Meetings will allow health centers to identify specific emergency preparedness training and one-on-one technical assistance needs. In addition, the EPTF Peer Group will ensure each health center has a comprehensive, active Emergency Management Program; including all-hazards emergency operations plans (EOPs), business continuity plans (BCPs) /continuity of operations plans (COOPs), staff training. The Peer Group will serve as the voice of health centers in the District’s Emergency Response process, in coordination with District stakeholders including DC Health and the DC Health and Medical Coalition (DC HMC).
