Peer Group Description: Patient Navigator for Cancer Peer Group meeting is open to all navigators/care coordinators/referral specialists in DC metropolitan area who assist patients in various phases of the cancer continuum – from primary prevention to survivorship. In providing a forum for peers to meet and collaborate, we aim to achieve two goals: 1) advance the best practices of patient navigation to improve cancer screening and care; and 2) collaborate to create systems-level solutions to current challenges.
