Ann Chauvin, LICSW, is the Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director for Woodley House in Washington, DC. Woodley House is non-profit community-based organization providing housing and services to adults with behavioral health disorders since 1958. Ann has been in this role since November 2018. Previously, Ann served as Chief Clinical Officer for SOME, Inc., also in Washington, DC for 17 years. She has worked in the human service field for over 35 years, specializing in service delivery for the homeless population and those persons with mental health and substance use disorders. Ann is a licensed clinician who has also been an effective program administrator for much of her career. She has created new programs and developed existing programs to improve client outcomes and is committed to fostering programs that help people transform their lives and give back to the community.
Ann has designed, developed, implemented, and worked within both addiction treatment and mental health programs, always with a focus on integrated care for co-occurring behavioral health disorders and medical needs. Other program areas that Ann has developed over the course of her career include service-enriched housing for older adults and families, as well as implementing behavioral health integration in SOME’s Federally Qualified Health Clinic. She has worked at a variety of non-profit organizations in the Washington Metropolitan area and New York.
