Peter Kiburi
Director of Finance
Peter has nearly 25 years of progressive local and international experience in financial and operations management, more recently for 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in the greater Washington, DC metropolitan area, with a focus on controllership and management accounting.
He has extensive experience in grants management, statutory reporting, budgeting and compliance monitoring for federally and locally funded projects targeting affordable housing, community development, emergency preparedness and public health. His recent focus has been on leveraging private and public-sector community development funding through financing and equity investments targeting economic development and affordable housing programs, as well as managing financial monitoring, reporting and evaluation on multiple million-dollar local public health programs.
Peter is a National Development Council Certified Housing Development Finance Professional and has a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, India.
