In November, DCPCA submitted testimony on B22-0233 TeleHealth Medicaid Expansion Act of 2017. Our testimony voiced support for asynchronous store and forward services and remote patient monitoring Both hold the promise to provide care for patients when, where, and how they need it.

On the funding side, the DC Department of Health Care Finance released two Requests for Application related to Telehealth services. The first RFA focuses on telehealth development for Wards 7 and 8. The close date for applications is this Wednesday December 20th at 4 PM. For more information:

A second RFA focuses on telehealth for Medicaid recipients in shelters and/or those living in public housing. The deadline for this opportunity is January 5, 2018 at 4 PM.
