Founder & CEO, Awari Enterprises, LLC

Tomi Ogundimu is the Founder of Awari Enterprises, an independent consultancy for health care and nonprofit organizations across the landscape, including community-based organizations, health systems, and life sciences groups. Tomi has over 15 years of experience providing research and consulting services to organizations across the health care landscape. Prior to her current role, she was the Vice President of Research and Education at The Health Management Academy. In that capacity, she oversaw the organization’s partnership efforts, Health Equity Alliance, and custom research services for leading health system and life sciences organizations across the healthcare industry. Before The Academy, Tomi spent 8.5 years working at the Advisory Board where she oversaw the company’s care transformation/population health research. She served as a strategic partner to executives at provider organizations on a wide range of priorities including integrated care management, health equity, primary care innovation, patient engagement, and post-acute care network development. She received her bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and her master’s degree from University of Michigan.

Tomi’s based in the DC-metro area where she loves to volunteer with organizations focused on helping those in the greater DC-metro area community. She serves as Co-Chair of the board at DC Greens and serves Secretary and chairs the Equity & Advocacy Committee of The DC Primary Care Association board.
