Tina Nelson is a devoted Cancer Patient Navigator. With years of experience in the medical field. Tina brings an abundance of knowledge and is passionate about patient care. Her passion started when she worked at Hanger Prosthetics with supporting amputees making sure they received the care that they needed. Before joining DCPCA, she worked as an Office Manager at Georgetown University College, the Counseling and Psychiatric office supporting students. She has a very good understanding of healthcare services and facilitates, excellent communication skills, is compassionate, and creates a great relationship with all patients. As a Cancer Patient Navigator, at Medstar Program for DCPCA, Tina has the pleasure of working with patients at Community of Hope with navigating a comprehensive care plan and making sure that the patient is connected to prevention and treatment.
